Deus ex Culina is a collaborative food blog devoted to a love of all things related to cooking. The title is a play on the theatrical phrase, "Deus ex Machina" but instead of God coming from the machine, he now comes from the kitchen.
Deus ex Culina was one of the first major food blogs on the Internet, and was recognized as such by Forbes. Deus ex Culina has over a hundred recipes catalogued, ranging from pizza to octopus risotto.
Deus ex Culina has languished since December 2004, and is currently in the process of being rebuilt. The new Deus ex Culina will utilize WordPress MU to enable anyone who wants to to build their own food blog and catalog their recipes for the world to use. Deus ex Culina is also working to bring video to the web.
